I have been asked to teach another
series of bridge lessons. The classes will be for intermediate to advance
players, however having said that I had several people who were not quite
intermediate attend my classes last year. Some of them felt they
weren’t ready for the material and dropped out, but a few felt that they got a
sense of how they might grow, so I will leave that up to you.
The classes are on Fridays from 10:30
to 12:00 at the Senior center in SLO.

The first two classes are on play of
the hand and your thought process. The second two are on defense and your
I send out the material about a week
in advance and ask that you print out the hands and allow sufficient time to
figure out the hands. You do not have to take notes at the class because
after the class I send out detailed step by step solutions.
If you attended my classes last year you are on my list and will automatically get the material.

Lessons in PASO ROBLES
Barbara Hardin will teach a
series of lessons starting January 9 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 545 Shasta
Ave, Morro Bay. 9:30-11:30 every Tuesday morning.
This class is for those who know
the basics of how to play bridge, but are new to duplicate or have limited
experience and want to improve their game. Each two hour lesson will
include handouts and supervised play of pre-dealt hands. Focus will be on conventions
popular with local players of both standard an 2/1, as well as strategies
for defense and declarer play.
Barbara is an accredited ACBL
bridge teacher with many years of teaching experience.
Lesson fee will be $5.00.
Come with or without a partner.
