BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES

November 11, 2007

Masonic Lodge, Sun City, CA

I. Meeting called to order by President Pat Reinhardt at 10:25 am

Members present: Pat Reinhardt, Carl Hoeberling, Sandi Norgaard, Bill Wellman, Charlie

Fox, Peggy Cowherd, Annabelle Salisbury.

Members absent: Lloyd Scott, Troy Brown, Lu Kohutiak

II. Secretary’s Report

A. Minutes of August 12 approved as received.

III. Treasurer’s Report

A. Report for 3 months and year to date as of Sept.30, 2007 approved

unanimously.

B. 299er Sectional final report received ($215 loss); discussion that

this sectional is needed to draw in newer players and should continue.

C. Unit has received tax exempt status and Unit EIN number from IRS which will

enable required forms to b filed this year. Current treasurer will file these

for the unit.

IV. President’s Report

Fall Sectional Tournament is on track

V. Old Business

A. Standing Rules Article IV D, E, F, G, H, I were approved with some word

changes. Document will be checked for overall wording and sent to board members

B. Publishing Bridge Scores/Articles in Press Enterprise tabled for future

discussion

C. Hemet Bridge Lessons are almost completed with 3-4 tables in attendance.

D. Perris School Bridge Lessons - tabled for next meeting

E. November 2007 Sectional - tabled for next meeting

VI. New Business

Unit Free Play cards - new version with limits on use will be printed

by secretary and given to club managers/directors for use by Dec.1; no “old” or

other versions of this card will be accepted at Unit Game after this date.
