UNIT 534 ELECTION INFORMATION
The ballots for election of the Board
of Directors have been distributed to all Clubs.
There are 3 different Ballots.
Hemet/San Jacinto Area Ballot.
Sun City/Canyon
Murrieta/Temecula Area Ballot.
Each of the ballots have Candidates from that general geographical area.
You must be a paid up member of Unit
534 to have your vote counted.
(If you vote, but are not paid up,
your ballot will be discarded.)
You may use any one of the above ballots.
DO NOT VOTE ON MORE THAN
ONE BALLOT.
If you use the Murrieta/Temecula Ballot,
2 seats are up for election.
One
seat is for 2 years and one seat is for 1 year.
If you use the Sun City/Canyon
If you use the Hemet/San Jacinto
Ballot, 1 seat is up for election.
When
this article was written, no candidates were listed on the ballot.
If you wish to “write in”
a candidate on any of the ballots, first, make sure
That person is willing to
serve. Then clearly write their name in
the space provided.
ELECTION SCHEDULE:
August: President appoints
Nominating Committees.
September: Nominating
continues. Last week of Sept.,
nominations close, ballots prepared.
October: Ballots distributed to
Clubs, election commences.
November: Balloting continues until
November 5th, at which times balloting closes.
Ballots are certified and counted at
Unit Games, results announced.
December: Board meeting and General Membership meeting
held at Unit Game.
Board members for the following year
elect officers.
Board members and
officers for following year are announced at General
Membership
meeting.
