Lorretta Miller, wife of Hugh Miller called the bridge
club today
to advise us of Hugh's death. I believe the cause of death was
lung
cancer.
Hugh was a good friend to the bridge club, playing
in a lot of
games and always participated in our tournaments. Hugh was a
constant
player on Wednesday nights and rotated playing with Sandy Zovod, Zody,
Barbara Thacker and if I remember correctly, Victor Greener. Hugh
could partner with the "A" , "B" and "C" players as he
was flexible in
his game and polite to all partners.
Hugh and his wife, Lorretta, moved to Idaho a few
years ago to be
close to their children and grand children. We never forgot
our
friend, Hugh, and he never forgot us. He even came back to
Fresno a
couple of times to play in our Sectional.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Miller for
her loss. Jill
