Frances Ann Endara, age 82, went home to
the Lord on Friday, August 10, 2007, after a long and courageous battle
with cancer. She was born in Indianapolis. The family moved to
Centerline, Michigan, outside of Detroit where she grew up. The family
moved to California in 1956, eventually settling in Fresno in 1960.
After her sons grew up and started their own businesses, Frances worked
with them. She was a partner at Lil Jon's Restaurants and organized the
catering for many of the shows at the Warnor's Theater and The Star
Palace. She assisted her son Jon in his real estate endeavors, and her
son Robert in his roofing business. In later years, she worked for the
local Social Security office. She enjoyed playing Bridge at the local
Bridge club. She was very family-oriented and extremely proud of her
sons and grandchildren. She was passionate about traveling and the
education that came with it. Frances loved going to church with family
members and attended services until just before her passing. She will
be missed, especially by her family, but also by everyone else who knew
her in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Raymond
Berry and Edna Berry; and her loving husband, Gonzalo Endara. Frances
is survived by her son, Robert G. Endara; the mother of her
grandchildren, Linda Baxter; her son, Jon L. Endara and his wife,
Ginger G. Rainey; her grandchildren Bobby and Skye; brother Bob;
sisters, Alice, Jean, and Margaret. She also had many nieces, nephews,
and friends who will dearly miss her. A Funeral Service will be held to
honor Frances at St. Columba Church, 5073 N. Palm Avenue, Fresno,
